Pronounced - Coin-o-nea. The Greek word used to describe the early church and the unity they achieved. It should also be our goal today within the Body of Christ. Koinonia, in it's truest sense means perfect unity among believers in Jesus, coming together like a family,completely committed to each other in unconditional love, and allowing God to use us based on our own unique gifts, talents and abilities, all working together to reach the world for Christ.
